With complementary skills and experience in data science, UX design, management, and communications, our team is leveraging the latest technology to make public transportation a safer, more navigable, and empowering experience for everyone.

Annie

Annie is a McGill student double majoring in Mathematics and Business Analytics. She loves ST(RIDE) because she feels like a magician working with Striders šŸŽ©. If she’s not at libraries or cafes, sheā€™s probably with her friends or family. Where exactly? No clue.

Amine

Amine is a Montrealer, currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from UniversitƩ de Montreal, with a focus on AI, machine learning and operation research. He previously graduated from McGill with a major in Mathematics and Business Analytics. He is passionate about the applications of technology and ML to improve transportation systems and making more accessible and smarter cities. Amine is currently working as a data scientist at a Montreal-based retail company. In his free time, Amine plays the trombone in an orchestra, enjoys hiking, and plays sports.

Casey

Casey is currently a third-year McGill student majoring in Sustainability and Strategic Management. Her passion in ESG started during her time at the Integrated Management Student Fellowship (IMSF) Program. In her free time, she likes to go bike around Montreal and try out new recipes!

Xingchen

Xingchen is from Xiā€™an, China, but also a long-time West Island Montrealer. Heā€™s currently working towards a Master of Management Analytics at McGill University, building on his Bachelor of Commerce with a Finance major. Xingchen is passionate about cooking and discovering new cuisines, as well as hiking, road trips, sports, and stock investing. Seb

Seb is a Montreal native and holds a BA degree in Psychology from McGill University. He works in communications and has experience in web and graphic design. When heā€™s out of the office, you can usually find him playing soccer at Rutherford Park āš½.

Jipeng

JiPeng was born in China but mostly grew up in Montreal. He is currently pursuing a Masterā€™s degree at Boston University in Mathematical Finance & Financial Technology after completing his undergraduate studies in Finance and Mathematics at McGill University. At ST(RIDE), he aims to elevate accessibility in public transit through mathematics modeling and thorough research. He is passionate about sports, especially basketball and hockey.

Wen

Wen is pursuing Information Studies at McGill University currently. With +3 years of experience as a digital marketing manager, she has shifted her focus to UI/UX design. When she has free time, she is usually immersed in musicšŸŽµ
