Making Montreal’s metro system more accessible for the visually-impaired

We are a team of McGill students on a mission to make our city’s metro easier to navigate for people with visual impairment and blindness.

Coming soon: An interactive and collaborative app 👩‍💻

We’re in the process of mapping the inside of every single metro station on the island. Once that’s done, our plan is to leverage these maps to create an immersive and interactive educational app. With it, visually-impaired and blind individuals will be able to learn how to navigate the metro from the comfort of their home.

Discover our research 🔬

At the core of our mission lies the user, and that’s why we’re dedicated to crafting a digital product that is 100% tailor-made for individuals with visual impairment. Such a UX-centred task requires a lot of data-driven insights, which is why research constitutes a big part of what we do.
